Job summary

Sappi is seeking a Business Process Engineer: Logistics to drive the definition of business requirements and coordinate analysis, design, development and deployment of distribution planning and execution processes. You will work to define IT solutions, review current processes, identify issues, and develop detailed business rules and data models using SAP TM, EWM/WM and SD across multiple SAP projects.

Based in Massachusetts, this role includes collaboration with IT and business teams for

Qualifications

Minimum degree or diploma in supply chain, IT or industrial engineering.
5–8 years functional experience or relevant business experience.
SAP TM, SAP EWM/WM, SAP SD knowledge.
Experience on two or more SAP IT projects preferred.
Relevant SAP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Drive the process of defining business requirements for new IT solutions.
Develop understanding of the business area’s objectives and current processes.
Review current state processes and identify inefficiencies and control weaknesses.
Proactively identify improvement opportunities.
Educate stakeholders on system capabilities and drive improvements.
Develop detailed business requirements and functional specs.
Document data definitions, rules and information flows.
Assist with system testing, deployment and change planning.
Support benefits tracking and post-implementation reviews.
