Job summary

ArcBest is seeking a Planning Coordinator - Managed Operations in Fort Smith, AR to support data and shipment management using our TMS platform. You will analyze data to identify inefficiencies, deliver transportation and logistics solutions focusing on lead times, costs, and carrier capacity, and help integrate providers within the TMS.

You will collaborate with multiple ArcBest divisions, identify root causes, and implement process improvements to support customers and ArcBest objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Logistics experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the voice of Managed Operations inside ArcBest.
• Support and execute predefined Managed Transportation solutions using the TMS.
• Liaise between customers and providers/carriers to meet logistics needs.
• Monitor shipments and manage carrier relationships.
• Provide internal communications on performance metrics and updates.
• Grow profitable revenue through ArcBest service offerings.
• Maintain documentation of TMS processes.
