Job summary

The Reily Foods Company is seeking a Transportation Planner to manage daily outbound order planning and scheduling for distribution to over 600 customer accounts in our Tennessee operation.

Responsibilities include freight cost mitigation, shipment tracking, and ensuring on-time delivery for key accounts, while supporting system implementation and cross-functional supply chain software like MRP, WMS, and TMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in customer service, logistics, and/or supply chain preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule outbound sales orders for 600+ accounts.
• Mitigate outbound freight costs via mode optimization & cross-docking.
• Track shipments and provide real-time updates to the Customer Service team.
• Ensure on-time delivery for key accounts and minimize penalties.
• Support daily logistics admin tasks including invoicing and claims.
• Assist with SC software systems (MRP, WMS, TMS) integration and maintenance.
