Job summary

Cargill is seeking a Transportation Planner in Wichita to coordinate day-to-day Packaged Truck deliveries, monitor delivery performance, and communicate risks to stakeholders. You will work with plants, sales, and the transportation team to ensure timely pickups and optimal carrier utilization.

Requirements include a degree in logistics, transportation, business or related field and 2 or more years of experience (or 4 years).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day Packaged Truck deliveries and schedules.
• Track carrier utilization, costs and service, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Tender and manage orders in SAP with tiered carrier rankings.
• Oversee orders from a set of plants and public warehouses and confirm loads.
• Log and approve carrier invoiced costs and update delivery dates as needed.
