Job summary

MAHLE Engine Comp.(US) RV in Russellville, AR is seeking a Logistics Planner to provide operational and administrative support to the Logistics Coordinator and Head of Logistics.

You will assist with logistics planning, production scheduling, customer demand management, and SAP maintenance, acting as a key liaison between production, customer service, suppliers, and customers to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience in logistics planning, production planning, customer service or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills for customer inquiries, schedule changes and delivery issues.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to analyze inventory, production and demand data.

Responsibilities

• Update and distribute customer shipping schedules and demand forecasts.
• Maintain 13-week demand visibility and communicate forecasts with stakeholders.
• Support demand planning and balance customer demand with plant capacity.
• Monitor on-time delivery performance and adjust production schedules as needed.
• Maintain SAP logistics master data and ensure data accuracy in systems.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers on schedules, deliveries and requirements.

Your Contribution:

As a Logistics Planner you will provide immediate operational and administrative support to the Logistics Coordinator and Head of Logistics by assisting with logistics planning, production scheduling, customer demand management, and SAP system maintenance, serving as a key liaison between production, customer service, suppliers, and customers to ensure material availability and on-time delivery

• Update and distribute customer shipping schedules and demand forecasts.
• Maintain minimum customer demand visibility of 13 weeks or as required.
• Correspond with customer representatives regarding forecasts, releases, spot buys, schedule changes, and demand fluctuations.
• Support demand planning activities and maintain accurate forecasting information.
• Assist in balancing customer demand requirements with plant capacity constraints.
• Monitor and track customer on-time delivery performance.
• Assist in reviewing production schedules, work orders, and customer requirements.
• Support creation and maintenance of production work orders.
• Monitor capacity requirements and support production planning activities.
• Maintain logistics-related master data within SAP, including material masters, scheduling agreements, sales agreements, forecasting data, and planning parameters.
• Ensure data accuracy and timely updates within logistics systems.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and suppliers regarding schedules, deliveries, and logistics requirements.
• Support supplier and customer performance monitoring activities.
• Visit customer or supplier locations when necessary to support logistics operations and business objectives.

Your Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in Logistics Planning, Production Planning, Customer Service, Supply Chain, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Strong customer communication skills with the ability to manage customer inquiries, schedule changes, and delivery-related issues.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to analyze inventory, production, and demand data to support decision-making.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and adaptability skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
