medmix is seeking a Logistics Planner for a permanent onsite role in Flowery Branch, GA. You will coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time deliveries and optimal material flow, collaborating with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.

The role requires 3+ years in logistics, strong MS Excel skills, and familiarity with SAP and MRP systems. You’ll contribute to cost-effective transportation, compliance, and continuous improvement in our global operation.

The Logistics Planner is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments to ensure efficient material flow, on-time customer deliveries, and cost-effective transportation. This role works closely with suppliers, carriers, warehouse operations, sales, finance, and other cross-functional teams to support customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Job Description

• Plan and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to support customer demand and warehouse efficiency.
  Ensure
• customer orders are shipped on time and resolve delivery-related issues.
• Track transportation performance and provide logistics reporting and KPI analysis.
• Manage inventory movements and support warehouse cycle count activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to optimize freight costs and service levels.
• Partner with Sales, Order Management, and Operations to meet customer requirements.
• Reconcile freight invoices and resolve billing discrepancies for parcel, air, and ocean shipments.
• Support GR/IR reconciliation and other logistics-related financial processes.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, trade regulations, and documentation requirements.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within logistics and transportation processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
• Strong experience in MS Excel.
• Knowledge of transportation, inventory management, and logistics processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships across teams.
• Experience with SAP and MRP systems preferred.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Positive, team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and leadership.
