Job summary

Advance Auto Parts seeks a Commercial Specialist to support dispatch and coordination of commercial deliveries from order creation to dispatch. You will manage store vehicle fleet maintenance, safety checks, and basic vehicle readiness, while conducting account stocking visits and Pro Sales flyer drops.

You’ll perform outbound calls and customer deliveries as needed, building strong customer relationships and knowledge of inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with inventory and store operations is preferred.
• Proven sales ability and willingness to upsell.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dispatching and coordination of commercial deliveries from order creation to dispatched for delivery.
• Manage store vehicle fleet maintenance, safety checks, and general vehicle readiness.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
• Perform outbound calls, follow-ups, and basic account touchpoints.
• Perform customer deliveries as needed following standard driver procedures.
• Lead organization and maintenance around the parts department/backroom, staging, and delivery areas.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Lead commercial program when CPP is not present (weekends).
