Job summary
Carlisle Companies, Inc. is seeking a Loader to perform pulling/picking and loading for outbound shipments and unloading of inbound deliveries at our Greenfield facility. This role requires operating a propane sit-down forklift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The position requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of forklift experience, with safety and accuracy being essential. Onsite at 6198 W Airport Blvd, Greenfield, IN 46140.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year forklift experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably Shipping and Receiving.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Must demonstrate safe working practices and great attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Operates a propane sit-down forklift.
- Sort shipments for destination and group merchandise to be included with or fulfilled in an order.
- Loading of finished materials for transport and unloading of raw materials.
- Moving products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
- Inspect the forklift to determine the need for repairs and to guarantee safety.
- Verify piece counts on each pallet and compares to label.
- Material handling of all products.
- Follow shipping work orders.
- Other duties as assigned

- Team player able to follow instructions from management and peers.
- Ability to learn and operate new equipment.
- Ability to use measuring devices (gauges, tapes, rulers).
- Strong problem-solving skills and math skills with the capability to calculate square footage and batch size.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of one (1) year previous forklift experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Shipping and Receiving.
- Fast paced manufacturing environment, loading dock, and driveways. Will be working in all weather conditions.

As a Loader, you will be entitled to the following:
- An Hourly Rate of $23.80
