Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Logistics Operator in Melville, NY to support shipping, receiving, and overall warehouse logistics. The role requires hands-on operation, inventory accuracy, data entry, and regular cycle counts, with a 5am–2:30pm shift and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
• Ability to be trained and certified in forklift operation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and participate in daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving activities.
• Verify and record all incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
• Maintain updated records in inventory and shipping databases, including inputting data and generating reports.
• Assist in quarterly inventories and weekly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload trucks.

Our client, a leading organization in the food ingredients industry, is seeking a dedicated Logistics Operator to join their team. As a Logistics Operator, you will be an integral part of the Warehouse Operations supporting Shipping & Receiving and overall Logistics functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Logistics Operator

Location: Melville, NY

Pay Range: $21 - $22/hr

Shift: 5am – 2:30pm; Occasional OT and Weekend Work

What's the Job?
