Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation or warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, distribution & inventory management.
• Proficiency with SAP, TMS, WMS logistics tech.
• Understanding of all transportation modes and carrier management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make timely and efficient decisions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily shipment planning, consolidation, and tendering across all transport modes.
• Perform carrier selection and load optimization, applying consolidation rules.
• Coordinate with warehouses, plants, and tollers to meet daily deadlines.
• Handle priority and rush order processing within short turnaround windows.
• Verify delivery data in TMS from SAP before planning.
• Confirm Shipment IDs and SCAC codes back to SAP with carrier acceptance.
• Manage spot bid process for shipments with limited capacity or high rates.
• Collaborate with procurement to maintain rate cards in the TMS.
• Oversee dispute management in the TMS and drive performance reviews.
• Maintain awareness of SAP delivery flows including FTZ, freeze protect, dangerous goods, and hazmat requirements.
• Develop and implement improvements for Distribution Planning, Inventory Management, and Import/Export operations.
• Lead pilots for new logistics tech and processes and manage implementation.
• Create contingency plans for supply chain disruptions and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
