Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Shipment Management Associate II in Novi, MI to support command center activities, interact with customers on operational issues, and help develop and document processes for ISO 9001 quality systems.

You will assist peers, participate in training material development, and manage multiple projects across accounts and sites, contributing to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred in transportation or logistics.
• Two years or more direct transportation or logistics work experience requested.

Responsibilities

• Provide tactical front line support for all command center activities at the account level and after hours as required.
• Interact with internal and external customers to address operational issues promptly.
• Develop and document operational processes to support ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Support peers and subordinates on key operational decisions to meet customer needs.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain client-specific and generic training materials and delivery methods.
• Manage a variety of account-specific and site-wide projects.
