Job summary

Maersk in Denver, CO is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead Last Mile operations, coordinate on-site teams, and ensure timely delivery across shifts. The role requires weekend availability and ability to rotate between 1st and 2nd shift.

You will supervise Customer Service Representatives and Routers, maintain reports, and develop vendor relationships while upholding safety and quality standards. Bachelor's preferred and 5+ years in logistics plus supervision are desired.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain or Related Field.
• Good time management skills.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a Supervisor role including performance reviews of direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains relations with vendors, stores, independent contractors.
• Ensures follow up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods and in-home damage claims.
• Dispatches trucks using GPS technology.
• Oversees in-home delivery for customers.
• Maintains monthly operating reports that include statistics and customer service scores.
• Oversees Customer Service Representatives and Routers.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job.
• Directly supervises hourly on-site staff who handle day-to-day operations in data entry, customer service, order processing and delivery.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
• Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and providing direction employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
