Job summary

Milford A Winsupply Company is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage inbound/outbound freight, transfers, and deliveries across Milford locations. You will independently arrange transportation, negotiate rates, and ensure accurate documentation in our ERP system.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate proactively with carriers, branches, and customers. English, with Spanish as a plus, is preferred for collaboration across sites.

Qualifications

• Understand logistics, transportation, freight coordination, and supply-chain processes.
• Ability to arrange freight, select carriers, negotiate rates, issue POs, approve invoices.
• Create transfer orders, process transfers, receive inventory, and maintain ERP records.
• File, coordinate, document, and monitor freight claims through resolution.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred based on needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound freight, transfers, outbound shipments, deliveries, pickups, and movement of Milford inventory and assets.
• Independently arrange transportation using approved carriers and internal resources.
• Negotiate rates and service terms within authorized parameters.
• Prepare and process POs, invoices, and transfer documents; ensure accuracy.
• Monitor shipments, communicate delays, and manage carrier performance and documentation.
• Work with multiple departments to coordinate material availability and movement.
