Job summary

Milford A Winsupply Company is seeking a transportation associate to operate light duty trucks and trailers, delivering materials to Milford locations, yards, and jobsites. You will prepare, load, and secure cargo for transport, ensuring on-time delivery and safety.

The role requires knowledge of DOT regulations, a valid license, and the ability to pass a driving test. Occasional travel and a strong safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 Year experience in transportation or related role, required.
• Ability to provide H2S and PEC Certification during onboarding.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR per Milford policies.
• Ability to pass competency-based driving test and follow federal laws.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of DOT logbooks and regulations.
• Ability to operate light duty truck/trailer combinations: truck, bumper pull, gooseneck, specialty trailer.

Responsibilities

• Operates company owned light duty trucks and trailers to transport materials inbound, outbound and between Milford locations.
• Delivers materials to customer yards and jobsites.
• Prepares materials for transport and loads relevant equipment.
• Secures materials for movement during the transport of loads.
• Works with team to ensure deliveries are safe and on schedule.
• Maintains daily/weekly logs of activities including DOT paperwork.
• Communicates with team members and coordinates routes.
• Performs basic equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
• Travel as required by business needs.
