Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. invites students to join as an Operations Internship for Fall 2026 in Washington. Under close supervision, you will assist with transportation and logistics services while gaining exposure to core transportation management principles.

Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and able to work 20–25 hours weekly. This role supports planning, compliance, payroll, analytics, and driver coordination within Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in good standing.
• Must be able to work 20-25 hours per week during the school semester.
• Willingness to adapt to a dynamic work environment and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to basic transportation management principles.
• Participate in daily operational tasks including freight planning, asset utilization, safety management, DOT compliance, driver payroll, and logistics analysis.
• Support driver supervision, profit-and-loss awareness, maintenance coordination, and account-specific duties.
