Job summary

Saia is seeking a customer service professional to deliver escalated support to customers and work closely with terminal operations to resolve disputes and service concerns.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely communication, and collaboration with dispatch to confirm deliveries and resolve conflicts. Strong English language skills and at least 5+ years in transportation or customer service are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 and authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read, write, communicate and comprehend English to perform the job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and emails; resolve escalated inquiries.
• Investigate freight issues and manage claims processes.
• Coordinate with terminal operations to confirm availability and schedule deliveries.
• Prepare shipment and dispute paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
• Support billing, data entry and recordkeeping.
• Conduct driver check-ins to verify deliveries.
• Investigate OS&D exceptions and resolve issues promptly.
• Identify recurring service issues and suggest improvements.
