Job summary

Catholic Charities Diocese of San Diego's EFDN+ Program seeks a Transportation & Operations Aide to manage safe, compliant transport and storage of food across San Diego and Imperial County. You will handle vehicle operations, inventory control, and documentation while coordinating with staff, volunteers, donors, and partner sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years driving experience.
• Valid California Driver’s License (Class C).
• Food Handler Certification required.
• Ability to read and follow GPS instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport food donations safely to distribution sites per program requirements.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Support warehouse operations including inventory control and labeling.
• Ensure compliance with signage, logs, and documentation at sites.
• Provide professional customer service to staff, volunteers, donors, and partners.
