Job summary

TASI Measurement in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is seeking a Logistics Operator to join Shipping. You will verify parts, pack them using various materials, and create the shipment manifest and paperwork, with carrier pickup arranged as needed.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will help promote lean efficiency and support value stream goals in a team‑oriented, safety‑minded environment. This role requires a high school diploma or GED and shipping/receiving experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School education or an equivalence of a G.E.D. required.
• Required experience or abilities to carry out the Logistics Operator Responsibilities.
• Shipping or receiving experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify finished goods and parts against documentation and ensure correct type and quantity shipped.
• Utilize hand tools, light power tools, and other equipment to build protective packaging as needed.
• Pack shipping cartons in compliance with standard work to prevent damage and unnecessary costs.
• Generate carrier shipping labels and shipping documents; stage outbound shipments by carrier.
• Follow work instructions and training guides.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE.
• All other related duties as required.

Job Summary:

The Logistics Operator verifies parts and packs them using a variety of packing materials and methods. The Logistics Operator creates the manifest for shipment with the carrier, creates shipping paperwork, and arranges carrier pick-up if needed. This position reports directly to the Logistics Manager. Responsible for promoting ana environment of lean efficiency, continuous improvement and support for strategic value stream goals.

Responsibilities:

• Match finished good sand parts with documentation and check correct type and quantity being shipped
• Utilize hand tools, light power tools and other special equipment to build protective packaging; may receive direction in the form of verbal or written work to complete assigned work
• Pack shipping cartons with parts in compliance with standard work to prevent damage and/or excess costs
• Accurately generate carrier shipping labels and shipping documentsStage outbound shipments by carrier
• Follow work instructions and training guides
• Follow safety rules and wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
• All other related duties as required

Qualifications:

• Required experience or abilities to carry out the Logistics Operator Responsibilities
• Shipping or receiving experience a plus

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
• Stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift or move items (typically up to 50 lbs).
• Use hands and arms to handle or operate tools and equipment.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
