Cherokee Strategic Edge in Tampa, FL, seeks a Logistics Officer to support a government client with a focus on property book accountability and logistics modernization. The role requires active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph or the ability to obtain it.

The position includes responsibilities across cataloging, inventory management, and coordination with the J-4 Directorate, ensuring budget alignment and mission readiness in a climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Eight years of logistics experience in S4/J4/N4 or J4 Directorate.
• Five years S-PBUSE experience with property book actions.
• Experience supporting SOF, SMU, and Special Activities Property Book Office.
• Expertise in policies, directives, and regulations for property accounting.
• Understanding of Supply/Property Book Accountability in Special Operations.
• Experience with Logistics Management, Inventory Management, STAMIS, CIF, SSAVIE, and related programs.
• U.S. citizenship is required and Top Secret/SCI with polygraph is required or to be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Provide logistics support to Joint Property Book Officer and J-4 Directorate.
• Oversee logistics and force modernization requirements; develop courses of action for equipment requirements.
• Perform property book operations and maintenance; research cataloging tools and data files.
• Direct internal transfers and turn-ins of SOF equipment and CTA/CTU assets.
• Assess equipment actions' impact on unit budget and readiness.
• Monitor pending property actions and provide status updates to staff.
• Prepare Unit Equipment on Hand Status reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct causative research to resolve property book discrepancies and implement solutions.
• Coordinate cataloging catalog changes and non-standard asset procurement data.
• Submit property book reports (hand receipts, inventories) and manage related files.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
