Job summary

9 Mothers in Austin, TX is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to be the single point of contact for inbound and outbound shipments. You will receive deliveries, log them in the receiving system, verify against packing lists, organize packages, and hand them off to recipients or carriers.

No prior experience is required; reliability and attention to detail are essential. Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., onsite at our Austin facility.

Qualifications

• Reliable: you are here every day, on time, and no delivery goes uncaught.
• Detail-oriented: you check quantities and part numbers against the packing list and don't let a discrepancy slide.
• Organized, with basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, or an inventory/receiving system).
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Able to lift and move packages up to 50 lb
• Prior receiving, shipping, warehouse, or inventory experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Receive every delivery to the building and check it against its packing list.
• Log each shipment in our receiving system and keep packing lists filed and traceable.
• Organize incoming packages so anything can be found quickly.
• Notify recipients when their items arrive and hand them off.
• For outbound shipments, package and label the item, drive it to the carrier, and confirm it has gone out.
• Keep the receiving area clean and orderly
