Job summary

UCT in Austin, TX is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant movement of outbound shipments. You will coordinate loading, prepare shipping docs, and support daily dispatch operations, working with drivers and ensuring packaging meets customer specs.

This role requires 1-3 years of shipping experience, forklift certification, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years Shipping/Receiving experience.
• Certified to drive a forklift.
• Knowledgeable with automated system (FEDEX, UPS, DHL).
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs visual transactions relative to shipments.
• Coordinates and assists with loading of shipments.
• Prepares dispatch logs for drivers with routes, drops and pickups.
• Maintains driver communications and updates routes as schedules change.
• Prepares commercial bills of lading.
• Prepares IBSS paperwork.
• Ensures packaging specifications are followed per customer requirements.
