Job summary

Kent Plc in Port Arthur, Texas is seeking a Logistics, Materials & Tooling Coordinator to manage materials, tools, and transportation for project operations and commissioning activities. Based in Port Arthur, you will coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and proper inventory control.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, materials, warehouse, tooling, or construction / commissioning support.
  • Experience preparing material requests, RFQs, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining procurement documentation.
  • Experience with ERP systems; Oracle Cloud Procurement / Inventory System experience preferred.
  • Industrial, LNG, oil & gas, or heavy construction experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory/material management systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in an active construction environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate receipt, storage, movement, and delivery of project materials and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and material tracking records.
  • Manage custody and control of the project tool room, including tool issue, return, inventory, inspection, and tracking.
  • Ensure tools are properly stored, maintained, calibrated, and accounted for.
  • Coordinate material and tooling requirements with Commissiong, Warehouse, Procurement, Client, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Support warehouse and laydown yard activities and maintain organized material storage.
  • Track critical deliveries and resolve material or logistics issues affecting construction.
  • Provide transportation for project personnel when required, using approved vehicles and following all site and HSE requirements.
  • Maintain required logistics, tooling, transportation, and inventory documentation.
  • Follow all the site project safety, security, and environmental requirements.
  • Support construction teams with timely materials, tools, equipment, and logistics resources.

About the job:

Kent is looking for a Logistics, Materials & Tooling Coordinator to be based in Port Arthur, Texas. This individual will be responsible for coordinating materials, logistics, tools, equipment, and personnel transportation to support safe, efficient, and effective project operations and commissioning activities.
