Job summary

Accurate Personnel is seeking a Logistics Manager for our Colorado operations. The role provides leadership for planning and supporting transportation and distribution, ensuring compliance with laws and corporate policies.

You will guide staff and coordinate loading, dispatch, and carrier relations to meet customer expectations. The position requires 5+ years in logistics, a track record in supervision, and familiarity with DOT rules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in transportation or logistics.
• 2+ years in a manager/supervisor role.
• Understanding of DOT rules and vehicle weight capacity.
• Ability to work graveyard hours, weekends and OT.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation guidance and manage site workflow.
• Ensure SOP compliance and employee training.
• Coordinate load quotes and ensure accurate, timely responses.
• Oversee dispatch and carrier selection for efficiency.
• Communicate shipment status to customers and build carrier relationships.
• Document and report in a timely, accurate manner.
• Negotiate terms and rates with shippers and carriers.
• Monitor carrier performance and drive process improvements.
• Lead by example and maintain a positive work environment.
• On-call 24/7 for emergencies; may work weekends/holidays.

Education

Degree in related field

5+ years of transportation/logistics experience

2+ years in a manager/supervisor role
