Caterpillar Inc. in East Peoria, IL is seeking a Logistics Manager to develop, oversee, and continuously improve end-to-end logistics, warehousing, transportation, and material flow for the IDES division.

You will lead internal operations, 3PL partners, and fleet management to ensure safe, cost-efficient delivery of materials and services. The role requires a Bachelor's in Supply Chain or related experience, strong leadership, and expertise in distribution and logistics management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree related to Supply Chain or equivalent experience.
• Experience in supply chain, logistics, operations or transportation management is preferred.
• Solid logistics, operations and manufacturing knowledge.
• Extensive material distribution experience.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety excellence across warehouse, dock, fleet, and automated material handling operations.
• Lead and optimize internal warehouse, dock, inventory, and material flow operations to support production and deadlines.
• Manage 3PL providers and off-site warehouse partners for service, quality, inventory and costs.
• Oversee facility fleet operations (forklifts, tuggers, carts) for safe and efficient support.
• Lead automation and AMRs/AGVs fleet management to support automation growth.
• Develop and lead a team of logistics and warehouse professionals in compliance and continuous improvement.
