You will manage daily logistics activities, coordinate with suppliers and service providers, and drive KPI improvements while maintaining accurate SAP transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of proven logistics, supply chain, or distribution management experience, preferably in aerospace or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ERP systems and MS Office.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage day-to-day logistics activities (shipping, receiving, paperwork).
• Coordinate with suppliers, internal teams, and logistics service providers for timely, cost-effective transportation.
• Monitor logistics KPIs and implement improvements to reduce costs and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with export controls, regulations, policies, and safety standards.
• Manage logistics documentation, customs clearance, and related admin tasks.
• Support digital transformation projects within the supply chain.
• Hands-on role processing SAP shipping transactions and resolving issues.
• Supervise 1+ Logistics Coordinators.

As a Logistics Manager at Safran Electronics & Defense - Actuation, you will oversee, coordinate, and measure the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials, components, and finished products. You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth supply chain operation, compliance to Export and Trade Regulations, and timely delivery of goods to our customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and manage the day-to-day logistics activities, primarily including shipping, receiving, and paperwork generation
• Coordinate with suppliers, internal teams, and logistics service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods
• Monitor and analyze logistics KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Develop and implement improved logistics strategies to optimize processes, costs, and timelines
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and safety standards
• Manage logistics documentation, customs clearance, and related administrative tasks
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and digital transformation projects within the supply chain
• Hands on role including processing shipping transactions in SAP
• Troubleshoot and resolve transactional and documentation issues
• Supervise 1 or more Logistics Coordinators Required
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field
• 5+ years proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or distribution management, ideally within the aerospace or industrial sector
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence outcomes
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Strong working knowledge of ERP(SAP) systems
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office programs, especially Excel
• Results-driven with a proactive approach to problem solving

Preferred

• Fluent in English; French language skills are a plus
• Previous export experience preferred.
