Position Overview

Reporting to the President of Moncler Group Americas, the Logistics Manager, is responsible for managing the Region’s logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, inventory management, distribution and other local logistics activities. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners this role also maintains high standards of efficiency, accuracy, and service excellence in line with Moncler expectations.


Your Impact

Operational Planning & Strategy
  • Support Central Logistics in operational planning (short- and mid-term) for regional warehouses, ensuring accurate forecasting of volumes, identifying deviations, and coordinating special services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new logistics processes, projects, and SOPs to enhance service levels, reduce costs, improve sustainability, streamline complexity, and increase overall responsiveness and flexibility.
  • Collect and analyze local business requirements to optimize logistics processes and address operational challenges
Transportation & Warehousing Management
  • Assist in overseeing transportation and warehousing activities at the regional level for all goods, including products, components, and materials. Ensure timely deliveries by collaborating with freight forwarders and logistics service providers (LSPs), while adhering to internal and external SLAs, SOPs, and contractual agreements.
  • Monitor and follow up on special shipments and logistics-related administrative tasks, such as importation processes, including EPA applications and white-list approvals.
Compliance & Process Standardization
  • Support the deployment of logistics processes, standards, and policies within the region, in alignment with corporate directives.
  • Manage logistics-related claims by liaising with relevant regional departments to ensure timely resolution.
Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration
  • Oversee communication with the HQ Operations logistics team to ensure alignment of key initiatives.
  • Engage in local allocator meetings to address logistics operations and ensure seamless execution.
  • Maintain regular communication with local retail, wholesale, e-commerce, allocation, and visual merchandising teams to align logistics operations with business needs.
  • Facilitate commercial relationships between Central Logistics and regional LSPs, ensuring service quality and operational efficiency.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
  • Actively participate in Business Reviews with local freight forwarders and LSPs, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Travel
  • Up to 10% travel: Regular presence at the main logistics sites in the region is required.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • In lieu of degree, relevant experience is accepted.

Work Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, preferably within the luxury retail, fashion, or high-end consumer goods industries.
  • Experience managing transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
  • Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, compliance, and international logistics is highly beneficial.

  • Proficiency in Italian is required.

  • Technologically adept with proficiency in Microsoft tools (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook), and proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems.
  • Professional presentation and excellent communication skills; able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all employees, management, and external partners.
  • Ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely in a variety of settings, adjusting the message to match the audience.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and work cross-functionally.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, able to prioritize urgent and critical tasks.
  • Knowledge of sustainability initiatives and best practices in supply chain management is a plus.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Moncler includes a reasonable estimate of the salary rate range for this role. This considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $110,000 to $125,000 per year.

In addition to competitive pay, the hired candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package includingmedical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, paid parental leave, 11 paid holidays, 15 vacation days, 2 personal days, 7 sick days, employee discounts, and a retirement plan with employer contribution.

The position requires 4 days per week on site in the Moncler Corporate Office, located in the heart of Soho, Manhattan
