Job description

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing all logistic aspects of ship acquisition and life cycle support. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

1. Ensuring that supply support is fully planned and funded for fleet operations and support;
2. Managing the process and productivity of integrated process teams planning for the logistics needs of the acquisition project and developing an Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP);
3. Providing advice and guidance to NAVSEA Program Managers regarding the design and development of new integrated logistics support approaches, concepts, practices and methods;
4. Directing and performing trend analysis of ship and equipment specific support problems to discern trends and systemic supply support issues.
