NAVAIR is seeking a Logistics Management Specialist within the AECS Fleet Support Team (FST) in the FST Logistics Division of FLTREADCEN East to ensure readiness and cost efficiency for Navy aircraft systems.

You will participate in program meetings, provide sustainment analyses, coordinate with fleets, US government agencies and contractors, and help maintain safety and readiness through effective logistics support.

Responsabilités

• Attend program meetings and prepare/present briefings for the assigned weapons system.
• Develop, review, evaluate and provide supportability inputs to program documentation including maintenance plans, supportability analysis, and technical data.
• Serve as the technical/administrative point of contact for the fleet, logisticians, US government agencies/services, and contractors for in-service logistics issues pertaining to the areas assigned.
• Ensure the safety and readiness of assigned aircraft systems, while reducing total cost of ownership to the Navy.
• Develop, prepare, review, and/or update IPS planning documentation.
• Identify fleet logistics problems, issues and develop or propose solutions/resolutions.

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST on the Aircrew Escape & Crashworthy Systems (AECS) Fleet Support Team (FST) in the FST LOGISTICS DIVISION of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will attend program meetings and reviews and prepare / present various briefings as required to meet the needs of the assigned weapons system.
• You will develop, review, evaluate and/or provide supportability inputs to program technical and mission documentation including maintenance plans, supportability analysis, and technical data.
• You will serve as the technical/administrative point of contact for the fleet, logisticians, US government agencies/services, and contractors for in-service logistics issues pertaining to the areas assigned.
• You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and readiness of assigned aircraft systems, while reducing total cost of ownership to the Navy.
