Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally at least 50% of the time.
• Candidate will be required to frequently work on moored pier-side units. Physical ability to navigate steep stairs and ladders as well as work in confined spaces is a requirement.

Who You Are

The Alteration Installation Team Logistics Waterfront Coordinator (LogRep) is stationed at repair shipyards, naval bases, and the Pureland, NJ warehouse, where they support combat‑system upgrades across multiple U.S. Navy vessels and sites. Acting as the waterfront safety officer, the coordinator ensures the team's compliance with OSHA, Navy, Regional Maintenance Center, state, and local safety regulations. The role involves developing all‑up material lists from ship technical drawings, tracking and organizing inventory, coordinating material flow to installation sites, and collaborating with government representatives on ORDALT inventories. In addition, the coordinator prepares reports for government, LockheedMartin, and contractors, manages purchases with the LM Purchasing Card, and performs monthly expense reconciliation in SAP P2P. Safety duties include developing installation procedures, conducting training, and conducting daily walk‑throughs with ship representatives. The position requires handling domestic and international shipments (including hazardous materials), resolving freight issues, and may involve shift work, overtime, and occasional weekend or holiday assignments. Frequent travel to installation locations worldwide—such as SanDiego, Norfolk, Mayport, Bath, Pascagoula, PearlHarbor, Yokosuka, and Rota—is also required.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $67400.00 - $125200.00
