Job summary
Ingalls Shipbuilding seeks a skilled maintenance engineer to review field support needs and define calibration and maintenance requirements for shipboard systems. You will develop PM work booklets and assess PMS and VFI data to ensure readiness during shipyard phases, with a focus on reliability and life-cycle support.
The role requires strong knowledge of calibration, maintenance engineering, and proposal contributions, in a structured, on-site setting in Pascagoula, MS.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or higher with progressive maintenance experience.
- Experience in calibration requirements and PM work booklets.
- Familiarity with PMS, VFI review, and ILS functional groups is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Reviews field support requirements and recommends tools and test equipment.
- Establishes calibration and maintenance requirements for field systems.
- Develops Preservation and Preventive Maintenance work booklets for shipboard equipment.
- Contributes to proposal efforts and maintenance engineering tasks.
