Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA in Salisbury, NC is seeking a full-time on-site Mailroom/Delivery Associate. You will pickup and deliver US mail, manage interoffice mail, and support 1100+ stores with ship-in and logistic tasks.

The role requires a valid driver's license, strong customer service, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment across multiple campus locations. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to deliver mail in all weather conditions, time restrictions and traffic delays.
• Repetitive lifting up to 65 lbs. (150-lb. team lift).
• Pushing of 500 lbs.+ on float, pallets can exceed 2000 lbs. (manual pallet jack).
• Ability to work in team/group atmosphere.
• Ability to work in pressure situations with narrow time windows.
• High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Pickup U.S. Mail at local Post Offices.
• Pick up and drop off interoffice mail and packages for delivery to every department on all Salisbury campuses and buildings.
• Maintain overall condition and appearance of delivery vehicles (drive vehicles to scheduled maintenance appointments and yearly inspections).
• Run van routes to 7+ Ahold Delhaize locations including Food Lion Credit Union and Julian Rd. facility, external routes to banks and FedEx/UPS drop-off locations.
