Job summary

Seaboard Foods in Merriam, KS is seeking a Transportation Load Tracker to connect the Transportation Team, Sales Team, Customers, and Plant Shipping. This role serves as a communication bridge to optimize efficiency across the supply chain.

You will schedule pickups and deliveries, monitor appointment windows, and work with plant personnel and customers to adhere to timelines. Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, in an office setting with occasional field work.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with transportation industry.
• Ability to effectively problem-solve.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal and external contacts related to pick-ups or deliveries.
• Work closely with plant personnel and customers to adhere to set schedules.
• Monitor and manage appointment schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize delays.
• Set delivery appointments within acceptable parameters using various means as required.
