Caterpillar Inc. in East Peoria, IL is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead internal logistics execution, kitting operations for SS assembly, and Inventory Records Accuracy.

You will align priorities, develop leaders, and drive safety, quality, velocity, and cost goals across the assigned operations. This role requires leadership across shifts, responsibility for material storage, movement, and delivery, and collaboration with Operations, Quality, and Planning teams.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops managers responsible for internal logistics execution and SS assembly kitting operations.
• Provides direction, establishes priorities, and ensures consistent execution across operations and shifts.
• Maintains accountability for material storage, movement, replenishment, and kit quality.
• Provides leadership for Inventory Records Accuracy, including cycle counting and root-cause analysis.
• Establishes performance expectations and holds team accountable for safety, quality, velocity, cost, and people results.
• Develops leadership capability through coaching, succession planning, and performance management.
• Aligns staffing and resources with production requirements.
• Collaborates with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain Planning to resolve inventory issues.
• Leads continuous improvement in safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, and space utilization.
