Caterpillar Inc. in East Peoria, IL is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain logistics, warehousing, and automation initiatives, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective materials flow to production and customers.

The role includes directing 3PL partners, fleet operations, and AMR/AGV automation, building a high-performing team, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree related to Supply Chain or equivalent experience.
• Strong data gathering and analysis abilities.
• Experience in distribution center or warehouse management.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety excellence across warehouse, dock, fleet, and automated material handling.
• Lead internal warehouse and material flow operations to meet production and safety targets.
• Oversee 3PL providers and off-site warehouses with performance & cost targets.
• Manage facility fleet operations (forklifts, tuggers, carts) in safe, compliant, efficient manner.
• Lead automation material movement tech (AMRs, AGVs/VGVs) and related fleet systems for growth.
• Develop and lead a logistics and warehouse team while ensuring policy compliance.
