Job summary

Symbotic is seeking a Manager, Logistics - Distribution Planning and Execution to own distribution planning and execution for complex automation deployments. You will ensure materials are staged, kitted, and released through a warehouse network in alignment with project milestones and site readiness.

The role collaborates with upstream supply chain stakeholders to feed warehouses with the right mix of materials and release plans for efficient delivery to installation sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, distribution planning, or warehouse-related roles.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience within Operations, Logistics and/or warehouse environment.
• Working knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations, material staging, kitting, and distribution processes, and transportation planning dependencies.
• Experience using ERP, WMS, or planning tools to manage inventory flow and execution.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional processes without direct ownership of all execution teams.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions.
• Ability to balance structured planning with real-time operational execution in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage site distribution planning activities to support installation schedules and site readiness.
• Translate inbound supply, supplier constraints, and inventory signals into actionable warehouse positioning plans.
• Partner with Inventory Operations to ensure materials can be staged, kitted, and converted into outputs.
• Coordinate and partner with warehouse teams to align staging priorities and outbound readiness.
• Define and manage warehouse release strategies to sites, aligned with installation milestones.
• Collaborate with Transportation teams to align shipment timing and routing with release plans.
• Identify supply chain risks and drive resolutions or escalate as needed.
• Provide structured reporting on site readiness, material availability, and warehouse output.
• Drive continuous improvement of distribution planning processes for scalability.
