Job summary

Ecolab, a leading global provider of cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance solutions, seeks a Logistics Lead for its Grapevine, TX plant. You will coordinate processes, equipment and people to maintain continuous product flow and meet plant goals. Shift: C, Sun–Thu 10:00pm–6:00am.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or GED.
  • 2 years plant/warehouse experience.
  • 2 years standup forklift experience.
  • Basic computer skills Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

  • Establish standard work and assist in training.
  • Coordinate equipment and labor to minimize downtime.
  • May back fill forklift operators or other positions as needed.
  • Participate in developing, deploying, and using continuous improvement systems.
  • Identify safety hazards through safety audits and initiatives. Recommend corrective actions.
  • Communicate maintenance needs, quality issues or other situations that impact safety, quality or productivity to supervisor. Work closely with the Quality team.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for system and process waste elimination.
  • Ensure constant communication with management on daily activities and challenges.
  • Participate in selecting and developing new hires.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean and maintained.
  • Successfully complete classroom and on the job training.
  • Ensure all documentation is complete.
  • Ensure cycle counts are completed in a timely manner.
  • Investigate root cause of inventory discrepancies.
  • Review and post inventory adjustments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Details:
  • Plant location: Grapevine, Texas

  • Shift: C shift, Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm-6:00am

What You Will Do:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED

  • 2 years of plant/warehouse experience in a related field

  • 2 years of standup forklift experience

  • Basic computer skills Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook

Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs

  • Must be able to pass a drug screen

Preferred Qualifications:
  • TPM knowledge and experience

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma systems

  • Basic computer knowledge

  • Professional experience coaching, mentoring and providing feedback

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Previous forklift operating experience

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $27.28 - $40.92. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
