Ecolab in Huntington, IN is hiring a Logistics Associate I to support picking, packing, staging, and shipping of customer orders, using scanners and forklifts. You'll work 2nd shift 9:30am–5:30pm with potential overtime and weekends, contributing to safety, quality, and on-time fulfillment.

Logistics Associate I

Ecolab is seeking a Logistics Associate I to join our team in Huntington, IN. As a Logistics Associate I, you’ll help deliver the products that support clean water, safe food, and healthy environments around the world. You’ll play a key role in supporting shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations. You’ll ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. This is a hands‑on opportunity to grow your skills in a fast‑paced setting while contributing to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Pick customer orders using a scanner or tablet and stack them onto pallets
• Stage and label completed orders accurately for shipment
• Operate material handling equipment such as manual and electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, and propane lifts
• Verify product quantities, labeling, and packaging quality against packing lists and SAP records
• Inspect packaging and contents for damage or quality issues
• Coordinate with customer service, production, and packaging teams to ensure order accuracy and timely fulfillment
• Assemble shipping boxes, prepare labels, and manage packaging induction
• Load trailers with packed boxes and pallets for outbound shipments
• Identify and report quantity discrepancies to the Supervisor or Lead
• Maintain a clean and organized picking area using 5S principles
• Support inventory control by updating databases and participating in cycle counts
• Ensure the freight sorting area is organized and follows established stocking guidelines
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and policies
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support logistics and warehouse operations

Position Details

• Location: Huntington, IN
• Work Week & Shift: 2nd shift 9:30am - 5:30pm with occasional overtime and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of stand up forklift experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous plant or warehouse experience
• Experience using Raymond-Brand stand‑up forklifts
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Experience working independently and as part of a team

Annual Or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay rate is $21.80 per hour. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
