Job summary

Ecolab in Clearing, IL is hiring a Logistics Associate to support picking, packing and shipping of customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse. You’ll use scanners, verify quantities, and help ensure accuracy and on‑time fulfillment within a safety‑driven environment.

The role offers a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule, with potential overtime. You’ll work with SAP data, participate in cycle counts, and contribute to continuous improvement while handling up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Pick customer orders using scanner/tablet and stack onto pallets.
  • Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, reach trucks, propane lifts).
  • Verify quantities, labeling and packaging against packing lists/SAP records.
  • Inspect packaging and contents for damage or quality issues.
  • Coordinate with customer service/production/packaging to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment.
  • Assemble shipping boxes, prepare labels, and manage packaging induction.
  • Load trailers with packed boxes and pallets for outbound shipments.
  • Identify and report quantity discrepancies to Supervisor/Lead.
  • Maintain a clean, organized picking area following 5S.

Ecolab is seeking a Logistics Associate to join our team in Clearing, IL. As a Logistics Associate, you’ll help deliver the products that support clean water, safe food, and healthy environments around the world. You’ll play a key role in supporting shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations. You’ll ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. This is a hands-on opportunity to grow your skills in a fast‑paced setting while contributing to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Pick customer orders using a scanner or tablet and stack them onto pallets
  • Operate material handling equipment such as manual and electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, and propane lifts
  • Verify product quantities, labeling, and packaging quality against packing lists and SAP records
  • Inspect packaging and contents for damage or quality issues
  • Coordinate with customer service, production, and packaging teams to ensure order accuracy and timely fulfillment
  • Assemble shipping boxes, prepare labels, and manage packaging induction
  • Load trailers with packed boxes and pallets for outbound shipments
  • Identify and report quantity discrepancies to the Supervisor or Lead
  • Maintain a clean and organized picking area using 5S principles
  • Support inventory control by updating databases and participating in cycle counts
  • Ensure the freight sorting area is organized and follows established stocking guidelines
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and policies
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support logistics and warehouse operations
Position Details
  • Plant Location: Clearing, IL (Bedford Park)
  • Work Week & Shift: 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday to Friday
  • Overtime may be required depending on business needs. This may include occasional Saturday shifts.
  • Compensation: $31 per hour

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous warehouse experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a chemical or hazmat shipping environment
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Experience working independently and as part of a team

Annual Or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $28.47 - $42.70. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
