Qualifications

• Experience and Education: 2-3 years of relevant experience
• High school degree or equivalent, plus advanced training
• Technical Skills: Excellent attention to detail
• Able to read and interpret paperwork and specifications
• Mastery of basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions)
• Problem solving abilities
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to get along with co-workers and be a team player
• Understand and obey safety requirements
• Commitment to keep work area clean and free of debris

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and ship materials to meet production schedules.
• Verify quantities against purchase orders, invoices, or records.
• Determine method of shipment and affix shipping labels.
• Assemble and prepare containers for shipping and packaging.
• Move shipments using forklift or hand truck as needed.
• Unpack incoming shipments and address shortages or damages.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and keep work area organized and clean
