Job summary

Afton Chemical Corporation is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support product movements across fuel terminals, transload facilities, and customer sites. You will ensure inventory accuracy, transportation efficiency, and timely invoicing while collaborating with carriers, terminals, and manufacturing teams.

The role emphasizes inventory management, order processing in SAP, analytics, and continuous improvement of logistics processes within a global supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate across functional groups.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels at fuel terminals and transload facilities.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments (truck, rail, ocean).
• Process and manage customer and stock transfer orders in SAP.
• Schedule transportation services and monitor shipment execution and invoicing.
• Investigate and resolve freight, demurrage, detention, and invoice discrepancies.
• Partner with carriers, terminal operators, plants, and logistics providers.
• Support customs, export documentation, and international shipment activities.
• Maintain proactive communication with internal stakeholders and customers.
• Analyze logistics data and recommend process improvements.
• Support KPI reporting and continuous improvement projects.
