Job summary

Stryker in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a warehouse associate to administer and operate the organization's warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment.

You will oversee receipt, storage and shipment of materials, coordinate shipping schedules, ensure efficient procedures and proper use of space, and apply inventory control systems to maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control or related manufacturing experience.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
• Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of principles and methods for product or order fulfillment, including inventory control systems and processes.
