You will assist with shipment tracking, carrier vetting, invoicing, and ad-hoc projects for senior account managers, while gaining hands-on experience in logistics and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Shipment Operations: Manage live track-and-trace shipment operations.
• Carrier Vetting: Assist with carrier compliance, onboarding, and network risk management.
• Financial Operations: Assist with carrier invoicing, rate audits, and billing workflows.
• Brokerage Support: Work on ad-hoc operational projects directly supporting senior account managers.
• Documentation: Ensure proper documentation is sent to Carrier Resources.
• Insurance: Contact insurance companies for proper certificates of insurance.
• Carriers: Call carriers to inquire about lanes, equipment types, and quantities.
• Insurance updates: Update insurance information and call references.
• Office: Answer phones and distribute calls to the appropriate broker.
• Accounting: Support the accounting function as needed.
• General duties: Handle general office duties and uphold company standards.
