Job summary

Olin Chemicals is seeking a Logistics Intern in Houston, TX to support the Transportation and Logistics teams through data analysis and shipment tracking. The role offers exposure to supply chain management within a manufacturing environment and includes a housing stipend.

Candidates must be enrolled in a Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics program with a 3.0+ GPA, and be able to work full-time (40 hours/week). TWIC is required and Olin does not sponsor work visas.

Qualifications

Must be enrolled in a college/university majoring in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
GPA 3.0+ on a 4.0 scale at all times; official transcript required each term.
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) for rotation or year-round; may be part-time during classes.
Must obtain TWIC and be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Support shipment tracking and monitoring to aid customer and business needs.
Analyze logistics data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on transportation-related projects and initiatives.
Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents to support logistics planning.
