Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs is offering an internship opportunity in West Chester for students pursuing a BS in Supply Chain Management with a focus on Logistics or Procurement. The Supply Chain - Logistics Intern will support day-to-day logistics procurement activities, manage carrier relationships, entry of rates, and tracking of purchase orders.

You will collect data for pricing and KPI analysis, assist in building logistics reports, participate in RFP processes, and collaborate with AP on invoicing

Qualifications

• Enrollment in BS in Supply Chain Management with a focus toward Logistics or Procurement.
• Sophomore year expected by Summer 2027.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist day-to-day logistics procurement activities: carrier relationships, rate entry, PO tracking, contract negotiations.
• Collect data and analyze carrier pricing and performance metrics; ensure consistency across plants.
• Assist in creating and validating logistics reports and KPIs.
• Research potential suppliers, assess capabilities and pricing.
• Manage end-to-end RFP process.
• Collaborate with AP on invoicing issues and other duties as assigned.

The Supply Chain - Logistics Intern at Cleveland-Cliffs will manage projects within Logistics and Logistics Procurement. The projects in which an intern will participate will vary, based on education level and other factors, but will model the duties below to the extent possible.

Summary of Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day logistics procurement activities, including managing carrier relationships, rate entry, tracking purchase orders, and supporting contract negotiations.
• Collect data and analyze carrier pricing and performance metrics, ensuring consistency across plants.
• Assist in the creation and validation of logistics reports and KPI’s
• Research potential suppliers, assess capabilities, and evaluate product quality and pricing.
• Manage the end-to-end process for Requests for Proposal (RFP).
• Work with AP to research invoicing and payment issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Enrollment in Bachelor of Science program in the field of Supply Chain Management with a focus toward Logistics or Procurement
• Completion of at least sophomore year of study by the summer of 2027
• Applicants for this position must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
