Responsibilities

• Support initiatives in warehouse and material flow operations to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Display shipping schedules on dock-area monitors to inform inbound/outbound activity.
• Verify bin locations, improve labeling systems, and support bin audit processes.
• Maintain accurate inventory and bin configurations, including updates related to warehouse changes.
• Help drive yard management improvements to reduce trailer count and improve flow.
• Observe processes on the shop floor, identify inefficiencies, and implement practical solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support daily logistics operations and continuous improvement.
• Participate in shadowing opportunities with Logistics leaders to understand plant-wide operations.

Your Contribution

• As a Logistics Intern, you will support key initiatives within our warehouse and material flow operations, contributing to efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement across the department.
• This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a strong emphasis on project execution on the shop floor.
• Support implementation of visual communication tools, including displaying shipping schedules on dock-area monitors to improve team awareness of inbound and outbound activity.
• Assist with warehouse organization initiatives, including verifying bin locations, improving labeling systems, and supporting bin audit processes.
• Help maintain accurate inventory and bin configurations, including updates related to HVAC warehouse changes and P4M rollout activities.
• Participate in yard management improvement efforts, supporting initiatives to reduce trailer count and improve trailer flow and utilization.
• Work directly on the shop floor to observe processes, identify inefficiencies, and help implement practical solutions in real time.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support daily logistics operations and continuous improvement efforts.
• Participate in scheduled shadowing opportunities with Logistics leaders to gain insight into departmental functions, leadership responsibilities, and plant-wide operations.

• Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel preferred).
