Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs invites talented students to join its internship program in West Chester, focusing on Supply Chain - Logistics. As an intern, you will work with logistics and procurement teams to support real-world projects and gain exposure to industry-leading operations.

You'll help manage carrier relationships, analyze data, prepare reports, and engage in RFP processes while exploring potential for future full-time employment within a leading North American steel producer.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in Bachelor of Science program in the field of Supply Chain Management with a focus toward Logistics or Procurement
• Completion of at least sophomore year of study by the summer of 2027

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day logistics procurement activities, including managing carrier relationships, rate entry, tracking purchase orders, and supporting contract negotiations.
• Collect data and analyze carrier pricing and performance metrics, ensuring consistency across plants.
• Assist in the creation and validation of logistics reports and KPI’s
• Research potential suppliers, assess capabilities, and evaluate product quality and pricing.
• Manage the end-to-end process for Requests for Proposal (RFP).
• Work with AP to research invoicing and payment issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Supply Chain - Logistics Intern at Cleveland-Cliffs, will manage projects within Logistics and Logistics Procurement. The projects in which an intern will participate will vary, based on education level and other factors, but will model the duties below to the extent possible.
