Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Implementation specialist to bridge Operations and IT, defining software requirements and coordinating training across teams in a 1st shift role. Ideal candidates have logistics system implementation experience and warehousing know-how.

You’ll work with SAP, WMS and related tools, developing training materials and coordinating testing with IT. The position emphasizes clear communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of logistics system implementation experience.
• Distribution/warehousing experience.
• Knowledge of automated software systems and implementation.
• Knowledge of WMS, order management apps and databases.
• SAP knowledge is a plus.
• 5 years WMS configuration experience (nice to have).
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formatting).

Responsibilities

• Define business requirements for software, develop training and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate collection and communication of business requirements to IT.
• Conduct training for software maintenance, startups and upgrades.
• Create training documents and resources for system users.
• Work with IT to develop testing scenarios and troubleshoot issues.
• Proactively communicate with customers, employees and management to ensure requirements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent related work or military experience
