Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. in Piney Flats, TN is seeking a Logistics II to support production schedules with intermediate material movements and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse.

You will pick, stage, and package orders, operate forklifts (certified), inspect incoming materials, perform cycle counts, and use SAP to record transactions and track inventory status. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in logistics or warehouse roles and at least a high school diploma or GED;

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of logistics, warehouse, or material handling experience.
• Current or ability to obtain certification for powered industrial trucks (forklifts, reach trucks, etc.).
• Proficiency with scanners and basic SAP/warehouse transactions.
• Ability to interpret kit lists, pick lists, and inventory documentation with minimal clarification.
• Solid problem solving skills for common inventory or material flow issues.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, and package orders with high accuracy and complexity.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, or order pickers (with certification).
• Receive and inspect incoming materials for quantity, condition, and documentation accuracy.
• Perform cycle counts, stock rotation, and bin audits to support inventory accuracy.
• Use warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP) to record transactions and track inventory status.
• Identify discrepancies such as shortages, mislabeled items, or inventory mismatches and take corrective actions within guidelines.
• Support kitting, line feeding, or production material preparation as needed.
• Coordinate with logistics, production, and inventory teams to resolve material availability issues.
• Complete routine logistics tasks independently with consistent accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.
