Varstaff Staffing is seeking an Inventory Associate I - B to support the B shift in Orlando. You will operate pit equipment to move materials, unload shipments, inspect quality, and ensure accurate data entry in our inventory systems.
Responsibilities include packing, labeling, storage, and conducting regular inventory audits, with a focus on safety and high-quality standards. Experience in aerospace or automotive is a plus.
Schedule: B Shift | Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM
Equipment Operation: Safely operate heavy PIT equipment, including forklifts, reach-trucks, turret-trucks, and electronic pallet jacks (EPJs) to move materials.
Receiving & Inspection: Unload incoming shipments, visually inspect packages for quality, and perform standard quality control checks.
Data & Documentation: Use inventory management systems for accurate data entry, read fulfillment modules, and systematically document receipts and work orders.
Material Handling: Pack, wrap, sort, stage, and label parts securely according to standard operating procedures to prevent loss.
Storage & Auditing: Properly assign storage for bulk or individual parts and perform inventory audits.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and upscale operational roadblocks, support root-cause analysis, and help problem-solve defects.
Experience: 2+ years of Fulfillment Center operations experience, specifically within receiving and inventory functions.
Certifications: Previous certified forklift experience is required.
Physical: Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
Safety & Quality: Strict adherence to safety protocols (including wearing PPE) and a dedication to world-class quality and attention to detail.
Technical Skills: Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material (BOM), perform basic math, and analyze data to solve problems.
Soft Skills: Strong communication skills within a technical environment, and a proven ability to build professional relationships and earn trust.
Warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience within the aerospace or automotive industry.
