Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a forklift operator in Indiana to load and unload shipments, perform daily equipment checks, and maintain accurate inventory. You will handle shipping/receiving paperwork and use the DC Links system to track inventory, while following GMP and safety requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus forklift certificate and about a year of related experience. Physical strength and safety awareness are essential in this on-site position.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Numerical ability: add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Reasoning ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and solve problems.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts to load and unload shipments of product.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork for shipping and receiving.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records via physical inventories and DC Links.
  • Assist other departments as needed.
  • Perform daily forklift maintenance checks and follow safety rules.

Other duties may be assigned.Operate forklifts to load and unload shipments of productComplete all necessary paperwork associated with the shipping and receiving of productAssist in the maintaining of accurate inventory records by means of physical inventories and use of the “DC Links”Assist other departments when an operator is neededPerform daily maintenance checks on forkliftsFollow all Plant Safety rulesFollow all Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO, SQF and FDA requirementsSupervisory Responsibilities:This job has no supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
